From the vantage point of Earth, the sub-solar point crossed the celestial equator on its northward path; it is officially Spring in the northern hemisphere and time to celebrate! Enjoy the longer days, warmer weather, and all the good things the vernal season brings—Happy Spring, everyone. March 29th, a Solar Eclipse takes place at 14 ° 47 minutes of Pisces in Uttara Bhādrapadā—the nākṣatra (asterism) named the Later Happy Feet. The event is a partial obscuration—caused by the upper lunar node Rāhu—who is 11° away in Pūrva Bhādrapadā (the First Happy Feet). Planet Mercury and planet Venus, both retrograde, are tied up in the eclipse as Neptune witnesses—and just 6 hours later, Saturn enters Pisces, leaving his home of Aquarius for almost 30 years. Saturn's move is the first in a series of three consecutive transits that herald a new cycle of growth and evolvement for humanity. Once Jupiter enters Gemini on May 15th, and the nodes change position on May 30th, the collective will be on a new trajectory. The movement of the lower lunar node Ketu into Leo and the upper lunar node Rāhu into Aquarius—ensures a year and a half of new karmic lessons. When these three key transits are in full effect, we won’t just be starting a new chapter—we will be writing an entirely new book altogether.
Saturn in Pisces does not sugar-coat things. Staunch Saturn in abstract Pisces forces us to get real—so we can stop gaslighting ourselves into delusion; it's time to be authentic. Saturn’s realness combined with Pisces’ sacrifice means no indecision, escapism, avoidance of responsibility, or being overly emotional. Saturn has rules on how things will go down—there’s no half-stepping; come correct or don’t come at all.
THE 30-YEAR CYCLES OF SATURN
During my deep spring cleaning, I found this old pic from 30 years ago (below)—shot with a disposable film camera (we had to go to the pharmacy to develop 😂.) The year was 1995, and Saturn had just moved into Pisces—I was in my Rāhu-major period and living in South Beach, Miami. In this photo, I was heading out the door to train my client—the leading actress in an action movie called Fair Game, shooting on location in town. In those days, I was known by my first name (Lindsey)—before everyone began calling me by my middle name (Loomis), which most people still call me thirty years later. I was in Miami, after a bitter-cold February in New York City prompted a 2-week vacation—that ended up lasting more than a couple of years. South Beach— speckled with mom-and-pop Cuban restaurants, little bodegas, prop shops, production companies, and plenty of nightspots—felt welcoming and warm back then. Everyone around town knew each other, rent was cheap with an incredible ocean view, and I rode my bike everywhere. If I wasn't at the beach, I spent my days training clients at Club Bodytech on Washington Avenue—David Barton Gym in the basement of the Delano Hotel—or on location on movie sets. Nights were full of friends, dining out, parties, and dancing—and we never had to worry. Those days were fun and free—and at the same time, I felt like a little boat in rough water, struggling to navigate the vastness of life. Amidst all of it, there was always a part of me seeking the deeper meaning of my existence. Now, in 2025, I can't even count the storms I weathered over the past 30 years—I learned innumerable lessons. Life lessons are the specialty of Saturn; he bestows wisdom through challenges, hardship, and discipline—and as he enters Pisces again, a new era begins. Initially, our karmic lessons may intensify due to the coinciding shift of Jupiter and the nodal axis (Rāhu-Ketu). When the river of life breaks its bank, do not get carried away in the deluge that comes with these sweeping changes. Remain resolute and steer your way through it—you got this.

9-PLANET EFFECT & ALL EYES ON VIRGO: MARCH 29th—APRIL 2nd
The 2 ½ year transit of Saturn through Pisces begins with a rare 7-planet stellium. This conjunction projects all its energy directly to Virgo—as Jupiter transmits its auspicious 5th aspect from Taurus—and Mars sends its assertive 4th aspect from Gemini—meaning NINE planets are casting their gaze onto the sign of the virgin. The zodiac of improvement, challenges, service, health, healing, pets, and daily life—gets a seismic jolt, fortifying the resilience potential in that area of our lives. With this massive injection of energy, Virgo becomes the flower that blossoms from a crack in the sidewalk; regardless of its environment or circumstances, it thrives.
NAVA VARŞA ŚUBHAM!
As all the planets set their gaze on Virgo, it's the start of a New Year—as per the Vedas. Sunday, March 30th, 2025, marks the first day of the New Year. In accordant with Vedic calculations, the Year 2082 begins (Vikram Samvat 2082). In Vedic Astrology, New Year's Day is Chaitra Śuklā Prātipada, meaning the 1st day (Prātipada)—of the bright Moon (Śuklā )—in the month of Chaitra. The Nava Varșa (New Year) always coincides with the first day of the Chaitra month. The astrological degree calculations of this day are significant because they are predictors of outcomes for the following 12-month period. According to the 2025 astrological positions, the upcoming year is one of Viśvāvasu—Universal Wealth.
